About

We take software apart. Sometimes it's a driver or a firmware image that shipped with a device. Sometimes it's a component that changed between two builds of the same product with no explanation. Occasionally it's something sitting on a network stack nobody has poked at. Which one we chase depends on what we can get our hands on, and who is paying for the work.

How the work gets paid for

Three ways. Someone hires us for a specific target. We find something ourselves. Or readers who find the work useful send something our way. Donations can be made here.

What gets published

Two kinds of work end up here: work we own outright, and analysis of issues that were already public.

Commissioning work

Bring us a target and we'll take it apart. Scope and deliverables get settled before we start, and what we produce is yours.
